WMSHP Scholarship Application
Each year, the Western Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (WMSHP) makes available one or more non-renewable scholarships for local pharmacy students. Students must be a P3 in the College of Pharmacy at Ferris State University, University of Michigan, or Wayne State University. This year, WMSHP will award one $1,000 scholarship and two $500 scholarships to deserving students. Completed applications must be received by April 1st, 2026. The winners will be notified by April 13th, 2026 and will be invited to receive the award in person at WMSHP's Annual Spring Seminar on May 14th, 2026.
In order to be considered for the scholarship, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Submit an appropriately and accurately completed application form.
- Be a native or current resident of the Western Michigan area (borders defined by Michigan Pharmacists Association).
- Be in good standing with his/her respective College of Pharmacy with an expected graduation in 2027.
- Express an interest in health-system pharmacy upon graduation.
- Demonstrate involvement and/or leadership within a professional organization(s).
- Be available to receive the Scholarship in person at WMSHP's Spring Seminar on May 14th, 2025
