  1. Identify patients who could benefit from HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis

  2. Implement appropriate laboratory monitoring schedules for patients starting or continuing on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis

  3. Summarize common adverse effects of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis medications
