After attending the program, the pharmacist and pharmacy technician should be able to:
    • Identify components of the new community acquired pneumonia guideline in the management of health care associated pneumonia.
    • Discuss best practices in the management of asymptomatic bacteriuria as it relates to IDSA guideline and the research conducted by the hospital medicine and consortium in Michigan.
    • Identify the place in therapy for daptomycin and beta-lactam combination therapy for MRSA blood stream infection.
