2012 WMSHP Scholarship Application

The Western Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (WMSHP) will make available a non-renewable scholarship for local pharmacy students. Students must be a P3 in the college of pharmacy at Ferris State University, University of Michigan, or Wayne State University. One scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $1,000.00. The completed application must be received by March 31, 2012. The winner will be announced at the WMSHP Annual Spring Seminar on May 14, 2012.

Scholarship Criteria:

1. An appropriately and accurately completed application form is required for consideration of this scholarship.
2. Each candidate must be in good standing with the College of Pharmacy with an expected graduation during the year of 2013.
3. The candidate must express an interest in health-system pharmacy upon graduation.
4. The candidate must be a native or current resident of the Western Michigan area (borders defined by Michigan Pharmacists Association.)
5. Candidates shall demonstrate involvement and/or leadership positions with professional organizations.

Deadline for application review is March 31, 2012
